Soulvage · Saint-Front-la-Rivière · Where to Stay

You will need
a place to sleep.

The Périgord is
full of good places.

We are in the northern Dordogne — the Périgord Vert — which is quietly one of the most beautiful parts of France and almost entirely off the tourist radar. The landscape is forest, river valley, and stone village. There are no big hotels nearby, and that is fine.

Below are some options at different price levels, from simple gîtes a few kilometres away to one genuinely exceptional hotel if you want to make a proper trip of it.

We are in the process of creating our own accommodation directly next to the salon. It is not ready yet, but it will be — and when it is, staying on site will be the simplest option of all.

Stay at least
two nights.

A session takes time to settle. The first hour is adjustment — the room, the silence, the equipment. By the second day something shifts. If you can, stay long enough to feel that.

One more thing: the absence of noise here is also an absence of light. At night, the sky above the Périgord Vert is genuinely dark. On a clear evening the stars are remarkable — the kind you do not see anywhere near a city. Worth staying for that alone.

If you have questions about where to stay or need a recommendation for your specific situation, just ask.
